The Fire Department’s Annual ClamBake is a much-anticipated community event held each year in the fall. This is BVFD’s largest fundraiser and is held on the grounds of Fire Station 1, on Route 64 just North of Bristol Center. The event includes live entertainment as well as a 50/50 and merchandise raffles. With all-you-can-eat clams and non-clam dinner options, this popular event often sells out so it is best to buy tickets early.

Chicken BBQ’s
Our delicious Chicken BBQ’s are another popular fundraiser for the BVFD. Community members enjoy a chicken dinner with all the fixin’s served by the volunteers of BVFD. Eat in or take out options are available.
Celebrate
Bristol Fun Days/ Chicken BBQ
For nearly a quarter of a century, the residents of Bristol have come together to celebrate Bristol Fun Days; an annual day of family fun celebrating the people of the Bristol Valley. The event includes the Bristol Volunteer Fire Department’s famous chicken BBQ, local artisans and crafters, live music, an antique car show, the library book sale and games for the kids.
The event allows children an opportunity to engage with a firefighter and get up close and personal with a fire engine.

Our Rentals
The BVFD banquet hall is available for rental to town of Bristol residents for meetings, banquets, and parties. The facility is located at Station 1 on Route 64, just north of Bristol Center. Our banquet hall has a capacity of 200 and is an air-conditioned, smoke-free environment. The kitchen is available for cleanup and heating up food only; all cooking/prep must be done ahead of time and brought in.
